Lynne Hardy the Associate Editor for Call of Cthulhu spent four years of research, consultation, and playtesting before Chaosium released the multi-part campaign titled The Children of Fear. The campaign was released into PDF back in 2020 to rave reviews from media and gamers. Now, Chaosium brings the campaign into a full color hardcover book! The book is 416 pages and the campaign takes place in the 1920s era across areas of Central Asia and Northern India.
The Children of Fear features the 2020 Spectrum 27 award-winning art of Sija Hong, ‘The Three Lords of Shambhala‘ shown above.
Also, players can get free access to the 141 page handouts pack for The Children of Fear. This includes all of the Keeper resources, player handouts, and pre-gen characters for the campaign. You can find them at the Chaosium itch.io site.
